This is in response to your possible inquiry about Danish-Swedish Farm Dogs. Please read this prior to contacting either kennel.
There are currently only 4 breeders in the US.
Kennel Flora and Kennel Little Denmark are handling inquries for all.

KENNEL FLORA AND KENNEL LITTLE DENMARK WILL NOT HAVE ANY PUPPIES AVAILABLE UNTIL 2007/2008 OR LATER.
The US farm dog community is small, around 80 dogs currently. The breed is very rare.
Kennel Flora & Kennel Little Denmark have an identical mission to responsibly breed and promote the Danish-Swedish farm Dog in America. Both kennels adhere to strict breeding practices in accordance with the Danish Breed Club and DSFCA (Danish/Swedish Farmdog Club of America).
Due to the rarity of the breed here, and it's limited size in it's native countries, it can only be bred responsibly if done very slowly and selectively. Because we already have a limited gene pool, breeding too many litters in a short time period with the same stock would cause a "breeding monopoly," which would cause severe in-breeding.
Kennel Flora and Kennel Little Denmark are both committed to preserving the breed and will not be breeding to meet the demand for puppies.
At this point in time, we only average around 1-2 litters born in The US per year, and our first coming litters are currently considered sold.
All puppies are sold with a contract which requires strict adherence to breeding considerations outlined in each individual contract.
Price range is generally $1500 - $2000 plus your transportation cost to pick up.
Puppy seekers responding to this letter are not automatically placed on a waiting list and puppies are not sold on a "first-come-first-serve" basis.
Our goal is to place puppies in homes where both the puppy and the family are a good match for each other. It takes patience and perseverance to bring one of these little dogs into your home.
